That sounds good, though I wonder if they will stay true to their word. They cut off SW for the Wii for a year before the Wii U was released. I don't want to get my hopes up.

One thing that has me hopeful is that they said they plan to adequately "absord" the Wii U architecture in order to have a seamless transition similar to GameCube to Wii. If they succeed than we might not have a horrible transition that Wii to Wii U had.

What i'm reading is "we are going to rush out the NX regardless but we may release some on both platforms" much like they did with the GC.
I am beeing cynical now. I wont believe words without actions. Reveal a new wave of exclusive Wii U software and i will change my mind. If thats not a case i will remain unsatisfied. And seeing Mario tennis, i already am. Camelot would be better spent making golden sun.

Yeah!!!, does that mean the NX wont have anything to do with the Wii / DS or Wii U / 3DS line? but its still a replacement for the both of them? 

They said some time ago that NX would "absorb" Wii U architecture but now Iwata says it will start from 0 - and we don't even know what he means by "absorb". 

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm just hoping for good news.

Edit: It seems I misread the "start from 0" part. It doesn't have to be about architectures but install base.

The "start by 0" statement means that NX will start with 0 users, while 3DS has an installbase of 52millions and Wii U around 10 millions. It doesn't have anything to do with archs.
