One thing that has me hopeful is that they said they plan to adequately "absord" the Wii U architecture in order to have a seamless transition similar to GameCube to Wii. If they succeed than we might not have a horrible transition that Wii to Wii U had.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
