So Xcloud is powered by Xbox One S's which has 1.4 teraflops and Stadia has 10.7 teralfops.
MS will need to react quick if they want to stay competitive in the streaming game.

I think one server blade is powered by multiple Xbox One S's but yeah it would still be lower than Stadia, since it's powered by an Xbox One console they can easily upgrade it to Xbox One X then Xbox Anaconda when it's available, also...

Sticking with Xbox One's should be beneficial and make things a lot easier for developers to support XCloud, though they definitely need to upgrade their server racks, Idk why they started off with Xbox One S, that's a bit weak and safe playing, unless they'll use Xbox One S to beta test then upgrade to Anaconda when they finalise it's specs.

If thats the case then why did they not just go with the One X. I feel that first impressions will be very important for the streaming platforms and using the One X would have been better since its stronger. According to digital foundry Stadia is using next gen hardware to power their streaming while MS is starting with the One S. The comparison videos later this year wont do MS any favors and could hurt them from the get go.

Can the internet infrastructure handle handle 4K/60FPS games to build the technology around a 10 TF hardware? I think the answer to this is no, for the next five years.
I think the target for the first couple of years is the small screens of phones, tablets and laptops. Hardcore gamers would still be willing to spend $400-500 on a console.

The most important thing here is the technology not the hardware. I'm not a tech guy to say who is doing the technology part better, but don't worry too much about these numbers, especially now.

That is exactly what I said last week. Requiring developers to accept Xcloud won't hurt Xbox as developers doesn't need to do anything. Why wouldn't you want your game to be accessible to more people?! It is more of an update to the terms and conditions page than anything.

The way I see it, XCloud is their bet on cloud gaming. Since Nadella's MS seems to be heavily cloud reliant, I expect them to develop Xbox into a GREE clone (but better) and keep the box as a system for hardcore console users only. This might also eliminate the pricing issue.

Today we should get some sea of thieves news

With Google officially announcing 1st party and also looking to acquire studios, MS needs to acquire at least 2 more AAA studios comparable to Playground, Ninja Theory and Obsidian imo.

The time would be now instead of waiting later.

Agreed. Hoping for 2-3 more AAA studio announces at E3.

I doubt that they will announce more than two new studios at E3, If they buy a AAA studio I would like it to be one that has two teams (like the three studios I mentioned above) but all the ones that I can think of would be pipe-dreams.

I think we'll get three but can see only one being AAA.

Out of the rumored studios some have fallen out like Typhoon(AA Studio), Hazelight(AA)and Turtle Rock(AAA) and possibly Relic(AAA).

Bluepoint seems to be the front runner right now and they said that they want to make original AAA games.
