I've noticed that SoT has been doing really good on Twitch. Has 114k viewers right now and is right behind Fortnite. 1G is also the most watched streamer and he is playing SoT with 56k viewers. Glad to see the game getting more attention.

SSD or bust. MS can afford to lose money on hardware for the first few years.

With the current state of the video game industry and how it is moving forward, each company can afford to sell hardware at a loss. Don't think of the console in a traditional way or you'll lose next gen. Think of it as a box you deliver to the customers so they buy your digital services. Gold, Pass, digital games, DLC's, microtransactions, straming, plus whatever they come up with on the future. Next gen, platform owners will get hundereds of dollara, on average, from every customer digital transaction.

Assuming they are equal first party wise, with the expansion of MGS, the one who's willing to lose more, would be the biggest winner.

Microsoft should be brave and enter next gen with a better hardware for a similar price or even less.

If I were Phill Spencer, l would've launched a $99 discless Xbox One last November.

I'm pretty sure Phil said that MS was committed to always being the most powerful console moving forward. So I'm sure MS is willing to eat some of the costs with the next Xbox. That's not to say I think there will be an SSD in the next Xbox though.

SoT was the biggest new IP on twitch for 2018.  Also number 4 of all games streamed on twitch in 2018.

Yeah Idk about some stuff either.
1TB SSD... probably not. 500GB SSD is more likely, but waaaay too small.
Platinum Games sounds unlikely as well. They have closer links to Sony and Nintendo. Currently not even a game in development for Xbox One.

When I read their reply yesterday I kinda guessed it as more of a misunderstanding that every episode launching day one into Gamepass but was rather a reply saying they will be coming into Gamepass.

Then again, I did just remember that Kamiya posted some surprisingly Xbox friendly tweets several months ago, which was strange because he had been down on Xbox for like a year or more after Scalebound was cancelled. Maybe MS secretly revived Scalebound after the backlash as a next-gen game, this time not trying to force multiplayer elements into the game? A  man can dream.

Well from what I remember Scalebounds biggest issue was performance, so that would certainly be fixed next gen. Reviving it would make sense as the game should be almost complete. A few months of additional work, maybe even up to a year and it should be finished.

yeah me too, I'm not surprised. 90 days sounds fair to me. Many games join the Game Pass a lot later.
