Probably will start on the 22nd again this year like the last few years maybe it could start earlier on Tuesday for Gold subscribers like they usually do with Ultimate and Countdown sales.

On the hardware side they didn't have anywhere near as good deals for December so far so that means they are likely happy with the sales through November as the 2 week run up to Christmas in recent years has seen same or better value deals than Black Friday on Xbox consoles.

Looks like they just starting this now $399 X bundles and $199 S bundles including Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield V and Fallout 76 that were previously $229 Black Friday.

Damn.. I'm always tempted into buying an X... Wish they had deals like these in Australia.

Im not really looking forward to the holiday sale since im going through games i started but have not finished and playing some gamepass stuff. IF 2K19 or Madden 19 is on sale i might buy them though.

Hoping the end of the year sale is slightly better then the Black Friday sale was. If its not I'm not going to buy anything and just pre order Onimusha and Tales of Vesperia instead.

After over 46 hours of playing Red Dead Redemption 2 I've only completed 39% of the main story. This game is so damn good. There's so much detail and stuff to do. I've even enjoyed fishing and hunting, two activities I absolutely hate both in video games & in real life. GOAT.

I still can't get into RDR2. Sorry, but I guess I just don't like Westerns (but I love Rodeos)...

According to our sources, there are two consoles currently being prepped, aiming for a 2020 holiday debut — a cheaper "S"-style console, to succeed the Xbox One S, and a more beastly "X"-style console, to succeed the Xbox One X. The codename for the "S 2" seems to be "Lockhart," and the codename for the "X 2" seems to be "Anaconda," which may also be serving as a dev kit.

Well if that's true then the BC team has enough time to add all 360 games to the list eventually. Except for games with licensing issues and games where the publishers is holding off because of remastered versions.

Other than that it doesn't sound too surprising. I was always expecting 2020.
Lockhart being around as powerful as X1X would be a bit disappointing IMO. Should definitely have a much better CPU and a bit more GPU power in order to make current gen games run at native 4k. While this is already possible for a lot of games with the X, some fall just slightly short. CPU is definitely a must though. Biggest bottleneck of the generation.
