Console cycles of 5-6 years are overblown and overrated. In fact I think letting the Wii and DS generations go on for so long absolutely killed Nintendo this gen.

"Console wars" razzle dazzle is ultimately just a bunch of nonsense. The regular joe doesn't give a crap about any of that, people generally just want one platform that gives them the widest variety of content, and then usually there is one alternative platform to that, and that's it. People are buying into an ecosystem, but fanboys take it personally and buy too much into the brand hype/company PR gobble-dee-goop.

Red Dead Redemption just isn't a very good game. There is nothing about it that deserves the level of praise it received...

I enjoyed Dragon Age 2 quite a bit.

I thought FF 13 was pretty good and I liked Lightning a lot more than Cloud.

I think Mario is embarrassingly bad as a character.

The auto-platforming in Uncharted 2 bored me so much that I stopped playing.

The QTEs in Tomb Raider pissed me off so much that I uninstalled on the spot.

Xenogears wasn't very good.

I think Metal Gear Solid 4 is among the worst games ever made, I find it absolutely ridiculous, the story is hilarious because is just so bad, the constant overdramatization is annoying, its mediocre as game and terrible as a film.

I loved DMC (devil may cry 5), people hate it because they play hack and slash games for the story it seems... I play for the gameplay and DMC has, by far, the best gameplay of the saga.

Skyward Sword is actually an amazing game far from being one of the worst Zelda games ever made as many people say.

The best game of the last generation outside Mario Galaxy was not The last of Us, Skyrim or Uncharted 2. It was Portal 2, a game with a better story, gameplay, more memorable and smarter than all those combined and is only 8 hours long...

Super Mario 64 is probably the most boring Mario platformer to play now. Mario bros/ 3/world/sunshine/galaxy/3Dworld are way more funny by today standars, now that 3D graphics are not a revelation.

FF7 is extremely overrated, 6 and 9 were way better, and nobody seems to care about them anymore, specially the 9.

F-Zero GX is the best racing game ever made in the whole history of videogames, period.

One of my favorite mobile games is a game called RoadBlaster, which was a remake of the game of the same name on the Sega CD. It's amazing! Definitely fit for mobile. But it seems to have vanished from the App Store... dunno if its on Android

GameCube had better games than ps2.

Links awakening is the best Zelda game.

The metal gear solid games are very overrated.

Baten kaitos has the best battle system of any rpg ever.

Pokemon has become boring and really needs to go 3d of die.

Graphics are irrelevant in the face of good gameplay

I detested Telltale's The Walking Dead.

Hell yes! It's my all time fave Zelda game

I also can't seem to get into mainline Pokemon games, but for some reason I absolutely love Colosseum. Also, Pokemon Snap is awesome.

And The Last Story is a better game than Xenoblade Chronicles. Disaster: Day of Crisis is a better game than Xenoblade as well.
