Cool, another Brit gets a superhero role, although I can't say I remember seeing this guy in anything. At least he actually looks the right age for high school.

I think his biggest role was Hugo in Hugo and Ender in Ender Games.

Hope it's not true. Kid looks like he's 12 or something

He is 18 right now, and will be 19 when he the film comes out. Most likely 20 when they do a stand alone film. They wanted a teenager looking actor.

My thoughts exactly. He looks too young.

Trust me he will be good, here he is counterpart to Andrew's Spiderman

Holy crap he's 18? I saw him in enders game and I wasn't impressed to be honest. I thought the acting was weak and attributed that to his (what I had presumed) extremely young age

I was team Dylan O'Brien. There is nothing wrong with Asa, but you know he doesn't look the role.

The problem with teenagers and early 20s actors is that their appearance drastically change in matter of months, which could generate a continuity issue for a movie Universe.

My only guess why Asa could be a better pick is because he may keep his teenager lock longer than most other actors. I mean, he is almost an adult and still looks like a High School kid to me.

The idea of the big bad superheros with their age and stuff will be all the more evident when one of them sees Spider-man outside a suit and says "But... he's just a kid."

Then all you guys saying he looks too young will get the point.

Hmm, pie.
