I was just reading about YET another freaking Spiderman movie reboot! But it was just rebooted! Why did they reboot from the films with Kirsten Dunst and Tobey McGuire anyway? It's not like they were too old, and a sequel with them would have made big money like the first 3. Spiderman 4 would have been fine.

But they rebooted it and now are rebooting it again! Screw this! I'm tired of reboots in games and movies. I will not spend a penny on this new reboot!

Because that awkward jazz club scene happened in Spider Man 3, and yeah... They couldn't be associated with that any more. Had to burn that to the ground.
As for the new Spiderman reboot, it's because Marvel got the rights to make the next movie now, and they didn't like where Sony were taking it.

Just leaving this here. That Jazz club scene is probably my favourite scene of any of the three original Spider-Man movies. Tobey Maguire looked super cool in that part.

Then I'll just leave this here for your pleasure.

Exactly what I'm talking about. He looks so cool . I just love it. The fac, the hair, the suit. It all just works. Even his moves are awesome.e I went through a phase in my childhood were when I grow up I wanted to be just like Tobey Maguire in that scene.

Yeah this thread should now be locked for posting offensive Toby Maguire gifs

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

The reason they are rebooting is Sony wasn't great at making them.

Well that is the problem with American comics that goes over 100 years. The story gets tired, the powers absurd so they need reboot. Japanese manga is concise and coherent, the history does end and don't come back so no need for endless reboots.

Yes it´s disgusting. The first triology was very bad imo, and then they did the reboot, the second triology was even worse, and now a new reboot. It´s pathetic by now.

This is about the Spider-man films, plus most big Marvel stuff has only been going 50 years.

Hmm, pie.

I think I haven't spent a single penny in a reboot and it seems like it's gonna stay that way ^_^

But isn't that true for all other Marvel and Dc franchises? Um comics for sure and in a lot of movies as well. It's so ludicrous that they need to retcoon the canon several times because it Always brings inconsistences.

I would rather see a remaster being remastered.
