Destiny had a campaign.......

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Damn that sucks, I'll buy this when it's like $20.

Destiny succeeded on marketing first and foremost and capitalizing on the weakened FPS market after Battlefield and Ghosts underwhelmed/pissed people off.  The game caused a lot of fallout but outran it.  That won't work for future games which will have to deal with the sting left by the likes of Titanfall, Destiny, and Evolve.

Sounds like there will be no legit space battles either...

To be expected, the IP has always been mp heavy.

am i the only one that is actually glad it doesn't have a campaign? seriously DICE can not make a good campaign to save themselves i'm honestly glad they aren't even gonna bother so that way they focus on other things in the game such as having a bot mode so that way when EA shuts the servers down we can at least still experience what the multiplayer was like or having the game work at launch. besides did anyone else here actually play battlefront 1 and 2's campaign they were basically offline multiplayer matches.

now that i am pissed off about was really hoping to see space to land battles.

As long as it has single player, i'm fine. I rarely ever care to play multiplayer modes of most games. Even with games like Destiny, i would try do do as many of the missions and such that i could, by myself.

Splitscreen support beats solo campaign for me, i'm happy!

seriously splitscreen is a mega ton for me while it doesn't make for the lack of space battles the fact this game has at least 2 player split screen is more then i was expecting easily makes for the lack of a campaign.
