Hmm, where do you base this list from? Is it a general consensus on the net? It`s interesting, I never expected Shovel Knight to be on the top, not that I`m against it. That would be awesome. I`m pretty much cool with this list.

The way some people reacted i never expected to see Snake that high.

Isnt it Nintendo only characters allowed for it?

Do people really remember king k rools enough for him to be this high? I don't really know if I believe this list seems really out of order

To be honest I am sure we are going to be getting more than just one character. Hopefully it'll be the top 5 or something. Doesn't mean they will be all released at once though, the balancing and careful crafting that goes into each characters move sets and animation takes a bit longer than most people expect. I do hope we see Solid Snake back, he was very unique and of course one of gaming's most iconic characters (rather you want to believe it or not). Though I would want to see quite a few new ones.

As for this being from Reddit, wasn't the poll selected from a list that was assumed and then voted on? So we are actually not seeing what people are really sending to Nintendo. There are quite a few really creative characters that people are voting for. We might be quite surprised by the end of all this and see some characters we were not expecting to see.

Also Shovel Knight would have some interesting move sets but I would rather them go all out and bring us Black Knight from Path of Radiance. That is a bad ass that would be one hell of a heavy weight hitter.

I could care less for Bayonetta, but the rest of that list is pretty solid.
