I AGREE 100% fans should stay together!!!!

This place is totally biased. Look at how the x-box guys have taken over this place. You can't get a single opinion in without Halo this, Halo that. It's like the Nin and Sony guys don't exsist.

I don't think its biased at all, but there may be a *perception* of bias simply because Sony is doing badly. As a poster said, this site IS (and always will be) biased towards sales. Sony selling badly means lots of bad news - which translates into bad (anti-Sony) forum threads, etc.

Think about it - if an "average" Sony owner/fan comes to this site, and sees all the threads - what will they think?

Maybe the answer is not only segregating the console threads (pro-MS, pro-Sony, pro-Ninty), but splitting the forum posts on the main thread into 3 sections (and clearly titling each of the sections - plus maybe a "other" section for sales, etc..).

I think the 360 numbers get "adjusted" to many times. but that's my biased opinion..

The forums are pretty ridiculous, but that shouldn't have anything to do with the reporting of your sales data. If anyone asks, be sure to clarify that the forums do not represent the opinions of the vgchartz operation. On that note, you should probably force your moderators to include a signature that clarifies they do not represent the main goal of the site, since alot of them appear to have the N written in ink on their foreheads.

My opinion is no the site is ran in a very unbiased way. however, there are more Nintendo fans here than any other therefore when an anti-nintendo statement is uttered it is immediately jumped on by like 20 people. It would be exactly the same if PS3 was dominating or 360. Basically people come to this site see the numbers, Nintendo fans get all cocky and start to post. Whereas Sony/MS fans go f-that and go away, mostly. The few Sony fans we have had have at times gotten attacked more aggresivly than they should have and then taken that too personally which lead to them over compensating their reply's. Some like Hus or Washimul were just complete tards and were really in the way of any discussion. However, I don't see what goes on behind the scenes with what the mods do an do not say privatly, but yes I have felt that many Nintendo fans have also been too aggressive in their rants and directly caused some flare ups from Kwaad and others. Lastly, I think the forum divisions are just fine. If you create ps3 ones or xbox ones you will only be inviting more flaming/trolling.

I have an idea, An option to show which console you support, Can only be changed every 1st of a month, each console has their personal forum that can only be visited by a supporter. And this stupid failure rate thing is just stupid, Mine hasn't broken cause I keep it well ventialed, so far away from a wall or heat source, and I doubt it will ever break. So guys lay off it. And Blue-Ray is pretty cool

I don't think segregation is the answer. If people would stop taking attacks on their console of preference as if they were personal attacks, the forums would be a lot better off. I mean honestly why do you care if someone doesn't like the Wii and thinks its kiddie and shallow? Just don't insult other users.

I don't know if it is biased, but I do know that a lot of the time I feel out of place because I don't share the same love for the Wii and Nintendo as many on these forums do. I feel as if I'm looked down upon because I like Sony. Often that gets me angry as you may have seen in my posts. So I see as the site itself is unbiased, but the members mostly have a bias toward Nintendo.

I do agree there seems to be a Nintendo slant at the moment, but a few people have already gave some good opinions on why that is. I've always been a Sega fan and in any generation own all consoles that were released (except for the Neo Geo *sniff*). This generation I'd be commenting more on 360 and PS3 stuff, but right now I simply can't afford them. My guess quite a few people fall into this category. The other thing is for some reason certain people can't seem to have rational discussions. In any discussion, it's okay to disagree, however, you don't want to start into the name calling. That's where things go downhill. I'd like for all members to be able to mingle with each other, as it helps keep perspective, but people need to remember that we're still talking about games, and we're all gamers. We should show each other some respect. Whether you're a Wii, PS3, PSP, DS, or Xbox 360 fan, you're all cool in my book. :) -Darkness
