Over time they update the numbers of the sales to match a more real sales number. Right now the sales are just an approximation of the real number so Vita's is a bit off.

You've gotta stop saying this in every thread. You're probably right, but you've made the thread and until there's evidence to the contrary that's what we've got. 

As others have said though, yes 3DS is very much undertracked. Probably less than half of the actual figures.

So I guess the original numbers (which are still what I see on the front page of the site) are what the VGchartz algorithm would have predicted for 3DS without the launch of the new model? With a decent boost due to MM and MH4U release.
