The point is, the question is why are people buying PS4/Xbone instead of Wii U. Not why one person, not why did you or me, but why do we think in general people do that. And people, in large numbers, are buying all those 3rd party games on the PS4.
As an individual, you're welcome to not agree with a majority. I for example, think that not having an interest in GTA V is a pity, as I enjoyed it so much I'd put it as "one of the games you have to play before you die".

Believe it or not, some of those people who buy a PS4/XB1 don't even know the WiiU exists!

I have a PS4 right now but the second console I'm going to get is a Xbox One (had one but sold it) and then a Wii U last. The reason I'm choosing Xbox One is because it has more games that I prefer. I really am tired of people defending Nintendo. They keep doing the same shit and it's getting old, they are trying but when the games I want are getting poor sales it lowers the chances of games like that coming to Wii U. That's because Nintendo is aiming for casuals, you can ignore it all you want but it's true. If Nintendo wants to sell more Wii Us, they should stop aiming for just casuals.

Its not selling well due to lack of 3rd party and media impact.
For years the media and gamers enjoyed taking jabs at Nintendo.
Media and marketing sells. Nintendo has had a lot of negative press therefore sells less, simple.

imo Nintendo didn't grow with their customers. Sony did.
