Now here are your predictions from back in January 2014.

wow 3ds was the most overshot. I never predict handhelds because I just don't pay much attention but damn. PS4 was less undershot than I thought but WiiU fans were a little overzealous it seems. Xbox was a little overshot but within reason given their last gen strength in NA

Wii U's sales are pretty startling. Pretty much everyone predicted above what it was.

Been off with PS4 and 3DS, but the rest doesn't look so bad.

So, way over with Wii U, and waaaay under with PS4.

Well to be somewhat fair, at the start of 2014 a lot of people still held that whole "console gaming is dying" belief and thought that PS4 sales would collapse as soon as the launch craze stops.

Seems XBO was the easiest to predict?
