Paper Mario on the N64. I've made 15 playthroughs of that game and I'm not planning to stop any time soon, still my favorite game of all time.

I'm now filled with determination.

My first game ever was Pong when I was about 5 years old. I remember going to the hotel nearby that had the machine in the lobby, and playing against my mom.

As a teenager, I played some games in the arcades, but I was always more of a pinball guy.

Later on, I played PES 6 on PS2 extensively with my friends in marathon 10-12 hour tournaments, as well as some other games when I borrowed the console from my friend.

First game I ever owned was on the first console I ever owned - GTA IV on X360.

The first game I played was Pong on atari. It was blah. I didn't get into video games until I started playing RPG's that were on the SNES.

the first mario bros on NES

Super Mario World and Sonic 3 & Knuckles! Those were some great times!

If built-in games count the first game I owned was Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

Can you even have a bad experience from your first game? I mean you have no standards and most new things are fun as a kid. Well maybe if it was Resident Evil.

This is true. E.T. is the first game I remember playing, and as since as a three-year-old I wasn't exactly well equipped to be a games critic, even that abomination was fun, albeit incredibly confusing.

One of my most memorable is Mario Kart 64.

5th gen was so great. That was the time when people were still locked onto their SNESes, PS1 just started booming, and N64 was showing promising beginnings of a strong library.

Hard to say. First game I played and owned was probably Super Mario Bros for NES. It kind of shaped me, but kind of didn't. I bought more Nintendo systems and games, but it did not stop me from enjoying other systems and games.
