My earliest memories of gaming was Soul Blade on PS1. Damn that was my game back in the day.

Also Pokemon Red.

The very first game I bought with my own money was Doom for the PC, it took me about 8 months worth of savings but it was worth every penny.
I still have those beautiful floppy disks.

My first 3 games where Titan, a very obscure but also very unique Breakout clone, Space Commander which was a Space Invaders clone and Boa, which was someting like a mixed breed between Snake and the Tron Lightcycles. All of these on my first PC back in 1989.

My first console games followed a few month later with Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Nintendo World Cup (which is still a superb party game to this day, too bad my 4 player multitap broke). Just weeks later I also got a SEGA Master System 2 with Ales Kidd in Miracle World build in, and Colums or Pro Wrestling probably my first game for it

The tragedy of Sonic the Hedgehog continues... Things seemed like they were going in the right direction with Colors and Generations... 

One of the first games I can remember was some stupid hurdles game. Playing games with friends is what got me into gaming. Need for Speed, Grand Theft Auto and FIFA. It really made me the gamer I am today. Online social gaming for about 75% of the time divided in mostly three catagories; racing, action and sports. With the other 25% spend in compelling story based games that I experience on my own.

First games I ever played were Pac-Man and Pitfall on Atari 2600 back in '84 maybe '85. I was 3 or 4 yrs old back then and played it at a cousins house. I accidentally broke the controller, I remember not being to do anything anymore on the screen and trying to quietly sneak out of the room.

That experience had almost no impact on me video game wise. My first unforgettable experience with video games was with NES. Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Gyromite Track and Field, and Baseball.

I was forever hooked on video games. Shortly after my mother bought Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, Hollywood Squares, Win, Lose or Draw, Jeopardy, Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune, Test Drive and Sokoban on PC. I was about 6 when I first played Leisure Suit Larry, it was a game I was always excited to play. I still remember pretty much the entire walkthrough by memory.

I was spoiled with video games as a child and always had more than one console. I had every Sega console and every attachment that came out for the Genesis. Every Nintendo console and usually whatever else was available. Panasonic 3DO, Turbo GraFx-16, and Atari Jaguar to name a few.

I have kept the multi-console tradition alive to this very day. I never game on only one console.

I loved Sonic CD and Ecco the Dolphin by the way. I was sad when my house was broken into and more than half of my video game collection was stolen. I would still have every game and console I ever owned if it weren't for that incident.

I played games at friends house prior, but the first console and game my parents bought for the family was the SNES DKC bundle. Aaah, I remember running into my parents room early the next day to wake them up and brag about how I beat the third level with all the snakes cause no one else could.

I want to say Super Mario Bros, but I know for a fact that was far from the first game I played. I remember begging for quarters to play Centipede while hanging out at the laundromat, Donkey Kong at the mall, Pacman at Pizza Hut. But those were all tantalizing tastes, not a full meal like sitting at home and obsessively learning SMB front to back.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Made me love Playstation for many, many years and shaped my appreciation of platformers.
