Isnt it going to hit the record of highest selling Franchise in a Single Year of all time in Japan?

YW2: 3mil+ Sold 

YW2.5: Just Launch, Will be no less than 1.5mil for the Year.

Thats at leasy 5.5mil right there, and Counting!!!!

Also thinking about it, it also might hit #1 Highest Selling Franchise This gen Very Soon. Currently its pokemon with over 6.5mil+ (and still counting because ORAS) followed by Monster Hunter (Over 6mil+). (I think 3rd/4th are AC+DQ and then YW before YW2.5 launch)

YW3 will put it #1 this gen O.o

It depends. If Youkai is a hit in the west, it will be the best selling franchise this gen in handheld. If it's not Pokemon and Monster Hunter will be the best selling in handheld. I guess YW will come to the west spring 2015, and if the game is a hit, releasing the sequels on summer or holyday.

They have released THREE Youkai Watch 2 this year. If they are not careful, they are going to milk the cow dry before arriving to the west.

And yet nothing is released here in europe. I want!

The first YW was released in 2013 though :P

Ganso, Honke and 2.5. It may seem similar to Pokemon (R/S/E; D/P/Pl...) but Youkai Watch is only two years old, and hasn't even made it to the west. It worries me they squeeze the franchise so early on.

YW1 released July 2013, FW sales were about 50k-60k then Sales at end of year were about 250k.

YW the Anime started up In Jan, And the legs on YW1 blew the f*** up. Reaching from LTD of 250k to 1.1mil by July (that means 850k+ sales in 2014 right there in first half of year).

YW2 released in July. In came in a pair like pokemon does. Its just 1 game. The sales are over 3mil now from release.

Thats 4mil+ total for both titles for the entire year.

YW2.5 released last week. YW2.5 is YW2 but the enhanced version. Just think of it as MH4 Ultimate or Pokemon Third Version. Usually these games release a year or 2 after the regular version releases. Level 5 however said f*** it and brought it just 5 months after YW2.

This game has over 1mil Pre ordrs.

Thats 5mil sales no matter wat right there.
