How much is the X1 outsell the PS4 by in December NPD?

0-100k 28 7.04%

100k-200k 33 8.29%

200k-300k 41 10.30%

300k-400k 24 6.03%

400k-500k 17 4.27%

500k+ 29 7.29%

It won't, the PS4 will sell more. 178 44.72%

See resultz 44 11.06%

Total:394

I'm not exactly sure about the difference and I don't exactly think that the issues in the Master Chief Collection and stuff like that will matter a bit; kids and teenagers will push the console, and they don't exactly care about the economic advantage PS4 offers, it's all about the coolest thing in the actual moment and Microsoft has built a lot of hype for the console this holiday season.

Also Xbox One costs technically 350 dollars, PS4 costs 400; this will matter for a lot of parents.

That's how I see it right now.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

The 400k gap is for November is confirmed guys ^

Link?

Creamsugar...we use his figures as fact every other month so why should this one be any different? Besides some official Twitter peeps have also said the 1.2m figure for the Xbone

Not quite confirmed, still a random guy on the internet

The 1.2m figure does seem legit though

If that not confirmed the gap between ps4 and Xbox One in the US aren't confirmed. For all we know it could be a 1k difference life time to date. If you were willing to believe his numbers earlier you should believe it now. He's known for this stuff after all and every npd we used his numbers but now it isn't confirmed?

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

I have since been corrected and given more convincing evidence (a total 2m ish figure has been given). But yeah, the gap's not entirely confirmed either

All meaningful measurements have a margin of error, the most accurate being straight from the manufacturers. But even those are not guarenteed

175K.

When two consoles are similar, yes. If the console is getting no 3rd party support and is marketed towards children the price has to be like $149-$199 to compete

If price was really as high as 95% of the reason then the Xbox One should be able to compete with Playstation outside the US and the UK and a few other markets.

Lol for the poll.

OT: my 200K difference was close.
