Well, Captain Toad certainly seems to be a fan-favourite.

It's because the only people who care about the game are the biggest Nintendo fans. Guess what score the biggest Nintendo fans will give most Nintendo games.

Then all Nintendo games would score this high.

Hint: they don't. 

The remake of the most overrated game of all time only has a user score of 8.8. Can you guess which game? Of course you can.

Metacritic user score rarely represents the true public opinion about the game cause is a fanboy warzone.

The pro-gamers will give 10 and the anti will give zeros for no reason.It's actually pretty funny to watch...

The critic and user scores of Nintendo games are usually very close to each other. This isn't playstation or xbox. 

Obviously that's too high..  But i'm surprised at how low the review scores are. I feel like the lower price point isn't being factored in enough and it's being reviewed like a full price game.

But why though? :/

I could make a few accounts now and give it a few 0s to balance things out if you prefer.

I highly doubt Captain Toad is worthy of such a score.. It does like a really fun game though!
