Just gonna make a post about some of my stances which I have recently changed. 

1. Game Delays

My Original Stance: They are terrible and reflect poorly on the developer and publisher.

My New Stance: We need more delays.

After playing MCC multiplayer and Assassin's Creed Unity/Rogue, I truly believe that games should be delayed more. I was wrong when I insisted that games being delayed reflected poorly on the people who made them. A few months of delay to iron out some issues is much preferable to have a completely broken game at launch.

2. Grand Theft Auto V

My Original Stance: One of the weaker GTA titles.

My New Stance: The best GTA title. 

When I first bought GTA V for the 360, I really didn't like it. I hated the characters and the story, and stopped playing half way through. After playing the remaster a bit, though, I appreciate the game a lot more. I'm still not the biggest fan of the characters and story, but the game is immensely fun once I got past that and the first-person mode is just simply amazing. Los Santos is also breathtaking.

3. Ubisoft

My Original Stance: Ubisoft is a bit underappreciated.

My New Stance: Ubisoft is garbage.

I bought the PC version of AC Unity on release. Not happy right now.

What do yo think about Nintendo??

I agree on point 1 and 3. At first I was like, man you should sort of know how long it takes to finish the last 25% of a game, but after recent events not so much. Ubisoft was one of my most favourite developers, but now. Second to last, only after EA.

The best developer and publisher, bar none. Playing and absolutely loving Smash right now, in fact.

1. Agreed, complain more about broken games, less about delays. Do not pre-order or buy on day 1.
2. But but remasters are evil and graphics don't make a better game, maybe they do....
3. Far Cry 4 is pretty awesome. Can't generalize the whole company. (Hmm ok, it's garbage on PC too, just a tiny part of the company made something competent)

Far Cry 4 is pretty good, but Watch Dogs, AC Unity, and AC Rogue have all been pretty disappointing so far. I'm actually a big AC fan who just happens to play mostly on PC, so it really sucks when I can barely play one of the titles, let alone enjoy it

Also, Ubisoft's insistance on tying AC Unity to a mobile app (which itself has a 'premium' version, like I haven't just paid $60 to play the damn game) and some random web-browser game was the final straw for me, it feels like they have gutted one of my favorite franchises and left it to rot.

I get that, but if the game is made by companies like Rockstar or Naughty Dog, I don't think this rule should apply. With EA and Ubisoft though ... yeah.

Man, I used to really like Ubisoft. Compared to the likes of EA and Activision, they seemed like the main publisher that took most risks with new IPs and supporting all platforms, and I liked their games more too (fewer FPSs).

But they are trying so hard to be hated that it's hard to like them.

I'm gonna make a big list of the ways Ubisoft screwed up. It's gonna be long.

Remasters are lame, but usually improve the game in tiny ways. Like WWHD.

Lots of "complete" games need delays too I think. The new Pokemon comes to mind with it's missing Battle Frontier.
