Well the Civil War arc was already started in Cap 2. Will most likely continue after and through Ultron and culminate in Cap 3.

I think it just provides Marvel a great out for contracts and rollover of talent and characters.

Not sure if it was a good idea to reveal everything. It takes away some of the element of surprise that the after credits scenes would give.

I was never a big fan of the Inhumans or Doctor Strange (sorry!), either. They're part of the Illuminati, though. If there's going to be a Civil War, I guess it makes sense for them to have movies but I don't know. Then again, i never gave a second thought to the Guardians of the Galaxy and that turned out okay. Certainly going to be interesting times ahead. Good to see Marvel isn't being complacent.

They want to piss off DC. 

They won that fight when DC changed Captain Marvel to "Shazam". Ignoring how little sense that makes in the actual story, it showed how the character had not caught on when a B/C list Marvel hero had clearly overtaken him.

Marvel owns the trademark for Captain Marvel and have since the 60's.  DC can call him Captain Marvel but any merchandise can't use that name so all DC Captain Marvel merchandise was called Shazam that's why they changed it with the New 52.

Marvel has been doing such a fantastic job with their movies and the way they interconnect. It's a damn shame that Spiderman and the X-Men are cut off. Don't so much care for FF, but that's just me
