I still think $299 is the price its should be. With free game of course.

Maybe next year.

Definitely next year. At the rate MS is going we could even see 249 next holiday

Maybe if PS4 is $299.

Eh, PS4 keeps selling at an incredible rate. MS should be worried about their own sales and they will probably fall off a cliff in the new year forcing them to cut the price later in the year. I wasn't that serious about the 249 though, but I am expecting 299 next year (holiday).

good move, will make a big difference for sure. almost has me tempted

Anyone saying MS is desperate to win, just wait. Within the next week Sony will announce a price cut. I think they're both desperate.

Yeah, I think MS is worried about Xbox sales which is why they're being competitive. Right?

I'm expecting $299 next holiday as well.

The PS2 had a $100 price cut after about 2 years. A console with no significant competition.

PS3 basically had price cuts year after year.

Well Sony is certainly concerned when MS makes moves like this. They're direct competitors.

Even if X1 only achieves 40 million units sold. That's still 40 million sales PS4 could be losing.

This isnt even a black friday deal...this proves that the sales on holiday must be really important for them. Wonder what would happen if the PS4 still outsells it in NA during this period

This is the right price for the Kinect SKU, Kinectless needs to drop to $300.

$250 is my personal opinion for what it would take for the X1 to have any chance of catching up to the PS4.  It is noticably inferior to the PS4 in just about every single way, and consumers know it.  At this point $300 just looks like paying less for a lot less.  At $250, price/perf starts to even out with the PS4.

Here in sweden we currently have this. Dunno if its just limited

Yaaay! I finally got a Xbox One. Hopefully it doesn't break on me.
