Finally, the One is at the right price in comparison to the PS4, if only temporarily. Sales should see a nice boost from this. Who knows, they might even have a chance of beating the PS4 in the US this holiday season.

That link makes it EXPLICITELY clear that Titanfall will not be on the PS4. A sequel? Sure, maybe.
But it entirely disproves your example of Titanfall as a title that moved to PS4.

Can see Sony offering GTA V and Last of Us Remastered for $399 for holiday season with the bundle being $349 just for Black Friday. People think Sony are going to give MS so much opportunity when they have the chance to get the US on lock? No chance. Remember there was a new PS4 certification/model so they've already made the PS4 cost cheaper. They are not going to lie down in their biggest market with a great deal from MS like that.
Anyone believe there will be further reductions on this MS deal come Black Friday?

Yeah I think Sony is gonna do two things:
1) Bundle a ton this holiday to counter the lower price
2) Drop the PS4's price to $300 next year while the X1 is still $350. No prisoners.
The PS4 will still easily win this Holiday, and WW it's going to be a bloodbath but at the very least this will help keep MS from falling off entirely (In NA).

I, unlike most people around here, don't believe discounts matter all that much. The Gamecube launched at $199.99, a full $99.99 cheaper than the PS2 and we ALL know how that went. Hell, the damned thing even dropped to $99.99 and it still didn't do anything.
If people want a PS4 more, a price drop's not changing anything because why should it? Think about it yourself. Would you buy a console you don't want just to save $49.99? lol It makes no sense.
