India has a lot of problems with rape and I don't mean the incidents of rape, since they happen everywhere in the world, but about the perception of rape in the society.

This sends a strong message to those who try to trivialize rape (such as a few Indian politicians).

Well, I don't approve of unnecessary violence.
He was caught, helpless and at their mercy. They beat him with sticks for a whole hour. That's a hell of a long time to beat someone. Did everyone in the mob get a turn. Then they chopped his penis off. Sick.
