XB1 Chinese launch: 100k shipped. Even if they sold, say, 60k, it won't be enough to put it on top WW.

MCC: Mostly popular in the US and UK, and it's an HD collection. Not gonna be enough.

Black Friday: Not only has the XB1 have to outsell the PS4 that day, it has to outsell it by enough to surpass PS4 sales during the rest of the week AND surpass PS4's advantage in the rest of the world. Not gonna happen.

Smas Bros.: The percentage jump will be huge, but baseline sales are so poor that it won't be enough.

So yeah, barring a $100 price cut for the XB1, I see the PS4 being on top for the rest of the year.


second week fifa 15 xb1 bundle for europe

after white destiny bundle, the ps4 is going back to (maybe new) baseline

russia and other t2 country xb1 release

 

next week gap between ps4 and xb1 will be much smaller again than this one (talking about last vgc report weeks)

Its Sony. Given their adept history in the gaming industry and the high appeal and marketability of their upcoming games it only makes sense. After all their first two gens they set standards as it were before the Wii.

Wii almost made it in 2008, but it got pipped by PS3 on 14 June 2008.

It might be able to but only after adjustments. I'm pretty sure VGChartz will show XB1 above PS4 on CHina launch week but I bet they're under tracking PS4 by a lot.

I don't think it will but you can never be sure. Best chance MS has is with MCC and the China launch.

Interesting. A majority are saying yes. I would have thought an aggregate of all the nos would make the majority. I voted no I think Xb one will probably be on top for one week.

Same Binary. I think XBO will have one week, that being the China release. Possibly will be adjusted down, but the initial week will be high for XBO.

I don't think MCC will be a real console driver as I think most if not all of the Halo enthusiasts are already XBO owners
