Not sure what notch is smoking but I want some.. Minecraft and Nintendo seems like a natural mix to me. Minecraft is a game Nintendo gamers would really be into. I mean personally it doesn't effect me as I've played the shit out of Minecraft already but there are probably many Wii U owners who haven't.
I expected better out of an indie dev.. But I guess since notch and his company became successful, they feel they have to shun Nintendo platforms like all the major developers out there.. That's when you know you've made it. It's like a rite of initiation or something.

But it MUST be that! Can't be that he doesn't see much sales potential, or that Nintendo hasn't opened the lines of communication/made an effort with him.
This is what people are not grasping and specifically what Nintendo do not get. People will not come to them anymore, they need to go to the people.
To follow up, NINTENDO NEEDS TO GO TO 3RD PARTIES... NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

Nintendo should be more pro active to get games like these.. Hope the new indie guy ( did they find a new guy?) does a better job.. Its really dissappointing that Nintendo didn't make a deal with this game like MS did.. Kudos to MS..

I would wager that Microsoft and Sony covered porting costs hoping to make it back in licensing fees. I doubt Nintendo would do that.

This isn't just some 3rd party game. This is minecraft and would do well on Wii U. It has a gamepad.
I love how many keep thinking that tons of 3rd party devs all decided together as a group to shun Nintendo.
Why can't it be that Nintendo is quite possibly really shitty to work with? At some point you need to stop with the unrelenting defense of everything Nintendo and understand that it is a good possibility that the lack of 3rd party support is their own fault.
