Shocked? I don't think that's the right word for it. Judging by the poll, it's looks like most people would be shocked if it does overtake the Wii U.



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Not this year nor the next. I do belive it will outsell it when the next console drops since nintendo systems drop of the face of the earth when the new console is out while xbox will keep selling.

Its just that right now or in the future there will be little reason to pick up an x1 over a ps4 and that will hurt its ales even with all the third party suport. While nintendo dosent have to worry about sony, they just have to make theyr console appealing with their exclusives and will sell regardless of sonys succes.

There really isnt a must have xbox one game until halo 5(presumably 2015 holiday) and all the first party titles are smaller and less recognizable then yoshi and kirby. So I'm gonna assume xbox will go down after holidays quicker tha wii u but wii u will get yoshi and ps4 will get the order so both will have console sales raise a little(wii u only ps4 will go pass 250k imo)

Won't happen this year. Gap will close in the coming months, but it will be 2015 when XB1 climbs into second place.

Xbox One can't even out sell the Wii U right now. With Smash, Bayonetta and Hyrule (not so much this one) along with Mario kart's first holiday, the Wii u will remain on top into 2015. Next year is a different question though. Anything could happen by then

I'm just curious, how much exactly  are you expecting both systems to sell in November and December? You are aware that the holiday season is usually where Nintendo excells most right? Last year, wiiU sold 1.6M units in November and December and it had a baseline of 25k all year long with only the release of 3D world. This year, they have  baseline of 60k (more then the double of last year) and they're going to have their 2 biggest franchises out on the market.  

I'd like to also remind you that the gap between both systems is currently 2m and is getting bigger every week as wiiU is outselling the xbox one.

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M
