I can't seem to figure this one out. 

Many people want him for Smash, I wouldn't object to it, but he isn't on my list of most wanted characters. He's not even that good of a character to begin with. Same with the Kremlings. I have a friend who really loves K Rool and he wants him in Smash Bros so bad he can taste it. He got so hopeful when the kremlings appeared in Smash Run. 

Another note is when the opening movie for DKC: TF was released, I saw someone say, and I quote, "Come on guys, enough of this, just bring back the kremlings". Once again, why? The Snomads were an excellent enemy. They froze and captured not a banana hoard, not a monkey, but an entire island. 

My biggest question is why? What is so special about K Rool?

King K Rool is nostalgic for the DK franchise, and DK Country (1-3) were amoung the top best platformers of the 90s.

King K Rool makes sense, he's a villian too. Me personally think he'll be great for SSB, but wont be upset if he doesn't make the cut.

Interestly enough the long forgotten Kremlings are in Smash run. This makes King K Rool chances better, as well as a Rhythm Heaven Characte due to Sneaky Shadows being an enemy as well.

Think along the lines of Mario with no goombas, koopas, or Bowser and you'll understand.

AS I SAID NUMEROUS TIMES Kremlings were chosesn because that's a big part of DK history, and because they are pretty unique enemies with them swinging arms around.

Also, apparently from GameXplain (who talked to insider) said something about BOSSES in SMASH RUN but then quickly told them he should have not said that so yeah.

I would support Dixie slightly more anyway.

I like the DKC Trilogy. I think that DKC2 is the best, DKC is good(I don't like it as much) and DKC3 is meh. I played these games for their levels and music. Nothing else. They were fun, the enemies didn't interest me though.

I do like the inclusion of K in every word starting with a C.

And I still don't see the big whoop. 

Because people expected the Kongs to have one constant enemy. DK64 would be a wonderful candidate for a remake in my opinion. The game itself was around 8 hours - 9 hours long. It can be loaded with extra stuff, plus if it's remade they can remove the game that belongs to Microsoft and have one of their own. Maybe Nintendo can contract out *cough* Crytek *cough* to do a DK 64 remake for the Wii U.
