Without a doubt, the following:

E.T.: The Extra Terrestial
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey
Babe (the pig movie)
The Iron Giant

It's been a while since I seen it but there where no truely sad parts in Babe.  Also that movie has a lot of haters on imdb now since its 6.9/10.  Even though its been a while since seen it I would give it at least a 8/10 which is pretty close to its critics metascore of 83/100.  Still have to watch the second movie.

With Babe, it wasn't tears of sadness but happiness. When that little pig proves everyone wrong, for some reason, I get very emotional with joy watching that.

Oh, I get what your saying its been over ten years since I last saw it but I really liked it also its one of the best movies from the 90's.  Also I really liked the song the mice sang at the end of the movie.

Actually just discovered the original version which is even better

Should have known about it earlier but I was either to young when it was popular or it wasn't that popular in Germany.  Did the best in the UK where it got to #3 on the charts.

Click, on the rain scene.

And i'm impressed because no one mentioned this yet, but:

I am legend, on the "hug" scene.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Up
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Marley and Me
Forrest Gump

Ah, I forgot Up. A rather unusual one in that it gets you right at the beginning.

I know right, that movie ruins my life a little bit more every time I watch it. Speaking of things that make me cry, your display picture ;__; Rik Mayall

I've actually cried watching a movie but I do get choked up, extremely moved by some movies.

Shawshank Redemption - The first time I saw it, I got really sad when it looked like Red was going to end up the same way as Brooks and then I got choked up by the last shot seeing Andy and Red reunited on the beach - perfect ending.

Gattaca - The ending brings me close to tears for two very different reason, there's the overwhelming joy of seeing Vincent's dream finally coming true after all the efforts he put into it contrasted with the sadness of Jerome taking his life since his life no longer has any purpose.

Signature goes here!

Dragonball: Evolution made me cry pretty badly by shitting on my favorite Anime series..

okay,I remember now. the one movie that actually made me really sad back in the day was alittle known movie called somewhere in time. Movie was a flop at the time, but it has some what of a cult following. If I could ever find it on blu-ray,then that would be a dream.

If it's from 1980 and has Christopher Reeve in it then there is a blu-ray version on Amazon. (I'm from the UK but it says it's a US import)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Rudy". The part at the end where they chant his name and the music is playing and he finally goes in the game. The excitement from his family and friends in the crowd. Tugs at your heart strings; good moment!

Recently watched the first Narnia movie again. The scene where Aslan goes to the altar really got to me :'C

I am Legend was soooo good. Saw it at the cinema and I probably would've cried at that scene, if it werent for some retarded kids in the back giggling. I was flippin' furious instead. >.>

Anime and even manga usually gets me more emotional than movies, but I might just feel that way because I consume far more anime/manga than western movies.

Can't quite remember my reaction to Up, but I do remember that it left a big impression. It was surprisingly deep and emotional. Very good movie.

Grave of the fireflies though.. The structure is so weird. It starts with the big event, long before we get to know the characters (low impact) and then, when we reach that point at the end of the movie, the moment is already spoiled (thus, low impact). It didnt do much for me. IMO, its a good movie, nothing more, nothing less.
