The first one was great, pure platforming. 2-4 all suffer from major hand holding that kept dragging me out of the action and leaving me bored before I could finally get back to playing. If they didnt keep stopping you to tell you what to do they wouldve been far better games.

Jak 1 was also the best Jak to me, 2 was just so, I can't really describe it but I didnt like it.

Rachet and Clank has definately been the most consistent in quality but there have just been too many of them so I got kind of burned out. Still Id probably have to give them the crown.

Ratchet hands down. Going Commando was the first game I've played, and I really loved it. The worlds were amazing.

Though it gives me a few bad memories of me arguing with people all over the internet to prove who was the best.

For some reason I did not enjoy the R&C series. Sly series is my favourite (have to play the 4th though).

I don't like platformers in general but I've played 1 game from each of the series.

Played Daxter (made by The Order: 1886 developers for PSP) and loved it.

I've also played Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time on Vita (again not made by the orignal developers but by Sanzaru Games) and disliked it quite a bit.

From R&C series I've only played A Crack In Time and absoutely hated it.

So I would say:
J&D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sly >>>>> R&C

Not played Sly but

Jak and Daxter is better than any Ratchet and Clank game I've played (not many but a few) but most Ratchet and Clank games are better than Jak 2 and 3 (open world without proper collectables and having guns? what were they thinking?)

Sly is the best platformer; but Ratchet is the best series overall. So it depends what you're asking :P

Jak is easily the best one thanks to the amazing The Precursor Legacy!

All 3 are awesome franchises imo but I love Jak, I think it was a testament to Naughty Dogs geniality what they managed to do with Jak 2 and 3 blending a Sand Box style gameplay with a plataformer to perfection before anyone else ever dreamed of doing it.

I consider all of them to be platformers, although as I said in the OP Sly is the most "platformy" of the three. Any way, the question is which of these three (platforming) series do you like the best, so your answer is Ratchet
