So this year three major racing games are going to be released:

Driveclub: Release Date Oct 7, 2014

Protect CARS: Release Date November 2014 (couldn't find better info)

Forza Horizon 2: Release Date Oct 3, 2014

Given how much fun the first Forza Horizon was (although only at 85 meta) I think the successor will be winning Metacritic score being in the high 80's, while from current gameplay Driveclub isn't that convincing as I see a lot of ambition but nothing that would be different gameplay wise to add additional fun to other racing games. I say high 70's would make the game fit (and by this of course doesn't mean it's a bad game, of course!).

With project CARS I am still undecided... rating a sim racer is always difficult as we can see with the scores from forza and Gran Turismo so this game to me might score from 70 to 90...

So what's your opinion of these games? Which willl score highest and will be best received?

I know absolutely nothing about this genre (except minor details about Project CARS), so I'm just gonna take a guess.

*What are those guesses based on? Well, it's very hard to please critics these days so I don't expect any of these titles to hit 90. Driveclub seems to have quite some hype going for it, so it's ranked the highest, whereas Forza 5 'only' got a Meta of 80, so I predict Horizon 2 to get 81. As for Project CARS, I can only guess, but I've seen some footage which looked pretty good and the game is also a popular topic of discussion.

I think the following will end up happening.

Forza is going to lose some points for being yet another forza game.

Driveclub is going to end up being a disappointment.

Project Cars will be great but inaccessible.

LOL good joke post I guess your not familiar with the final metascore of the first Horizon game its 85/100 and we already know that the second game will be better then the first one in every possible way.

I think, the score of CARS will be a bit higher than Shift and Shift 2.

Well, who knows really? It's just my prediction. (which is based on pretty much nothing) Could be right, could be wrong, we'll see. I did check Forza Horizon's meta though, I just don't believe a racing game can score much more than 86 in this day and age.

lol, as if that means that the score will be higher. All the better sequels with lower meta scores say hello

Well Horizon 2 will score higher then that.  The first game had more then a few shortcomings the two main ones where that the map was kinda on the small side and the single player game was on the short side and it still ended up with a 85/100.  The map will be 3 times bigger in the second game and the single player campain will be more then three times longer 20+ hours versus 100+ hours only someone that never played the first game and isn't familiar with all the info about the second game would score it that low even the 360 version of the game will score higher then that and I don't expect it to be as good as the X1 version.

forza is a fanboy reviewers favourite, it be will higher by default
