Part of what saved him this time last year is that no viable replacement was available. Klopp is currently unattached so the same is not true this season, and I think that will have partly influenced both why Rodgers is gone and why everyone believes Klopp will replace him.

out of position players, bastian-carrick combination is a disaster against a pacey team. rooney is still starting. and imagine 3-0 down, and we just kept the ball in the second half and we didn't even have any cutting edge. what the hell.
