At least customers won't run away from it after a few years like they did from NSMB.


Nintendo just pushed their luck way too far with NSMB.  NSMBU is the 4th one in 6 years if you include the DS ones.  I liked the Wii U one but the reality is that people, including myself, are pretty burnt out on side scroller Mario.

that has been the expected announcement due to a supposed leak, but with Keighley saying "world premeire" there may be something else, but it could be the world premeire of cranky kong.

DKC has been my favorite game since I was a kid but if thats all they do at VGX then they are going to get laughed at, and I won't be on here defending them either.

I desperately want it to be a new game or an awesome Zelda U, but this is post-2010 Nintendo we're talking about. When do they ever deliver on their hyped reveals/conferences/directs anymore? I am braced for disappointment.

If the word premiere is being used correctly then it's Zelda U debut trailer. We know it's ready to show, I'm not sure we are going to see anything else new.

 

Edit: who the hell 'premieres' a game character (Geoff K should get lynched if that's all it is)

it wouldn't be uncharacteristic for Nintendo to announce cranky kong, it just seems like something Nintendo would do.  After all, they did troll us with Wii fit trainer for Smash.
