No they won't. Wii U will not be popular like the Wii so Xbone will have a greater % of marketshare. Maybe 40%

My assumption is not based in the fact that Xbox One can't do more than 600k 1st week. What is difficult to me to assume is that Europe and others is less than 350k, for the first million xbox one units sold.

If from that first million, NA sales are 700 or 800k sales, and we know UK is 150k, are we pretending to believe that Australia, Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, and Spain are only 50-150k units????

For me it's more plausible that all these countries plus UK sums around 350-400k. 1 million minus 350k is 650k for North America. If Xbox One sold 1'1 or 1'2 million 1st week, for me NA should be arround 750k max.

The venom was MS's own doing...........................It;s their job to market and get the message out to make people think positively about a product... Stop blaming others for MS issues.

Every post ever = 250 k global week 1. I can't make it any simpler then that.

There were many posts with 4 to 1, 3 to 1, 5 to 1 for PS4.

The very worst case for the One in NA is 700k, less than a 3 to 1 for the PS4.

That was before MS changed their policies. Those ratios were probably correct back then.

??? There is restock before 2014, but demand is so high for PS4 they will go towards just filling backorders for pre-orders........

Who gives a shit about these week 1 sales when the consoles are being sold out everywhere anway? These numbers mean nothing. Even in germany, where the PS is much stronger than the xbox, it was practically impossible to get a xbox one after its release and if you try ordering from Amazon.de it tells oyu that the standard xbox one won't ship before 20th december. Still better than the PS4 shipping date, but thats just how the market share has always been outside of England, nothing really that much surprising . So the current ww sales indicate shit about the real demand for both consoles.

Both consoles are selling well right now, if you like it or not. Even though it blows my mind why there are so many people hoping that their "archenemy" fails and we end up with one company ruling over the console and gaming market. I couldn't be happier if both companies end up being satisfied with this gen and continue into the "next next gen". Though this might lead to a stronger PC market or even more Valve involvement.
