It appears they made a quality fighter, are we allowed to resect them yet?

Or do we have to wait for the review of Strider to determine this?

They deserve a round of applause for everything they went through and in a short period of time (10 months) they developed a kick ass game.
In the same time frame they turned doubters into beliebers. Sure Microsoft will keep them around and EA,Activision and Ubisoft will peep to see if they can buy them.

They did a really good job with Killer Instinct for sure. Whats next for them Strider?

What they have accomplished in such a short period of time is simply astounding :

 

Specialize all caracters' gameplay and keeping them true to the fans

Detail every caracters' design and keeping them true to the fans

Providing an astounding re-mastering of the classic KI tunes

Rich, dynamic music adapting to gameplay rythm changing

Critically acclaimed gameplay combo and breakers system

 

They will add features and caracters so in the end, you paid 20 bucks for a full AAA fighting franchise re-boot.

You think many other fighting games out there would have score the same as KI with 6 charact. and 1-2 modes of play?

I didn't follow the game much, but isn't it short on content at the moment? Hardly astounding to me.

They have done an excellent job with Killer Instinct so there is that xD As mentioned in many reviews it is a great fighter that just needs a little more content. Which they're adding starting January so excellent xD

However they also had Rare Ltd working on it so credit should go to both. But yes Double Helix deserves some praise now after all the shit they have taken since E3.

Hard to say since only thing comparable is Tekken Revolution with 70 meta, although only with 12 reviews.

It is getting a new character every month and story is being added I believe in march.  The gameplay is great  which is why it is recieving good scores regardless of the low content.
