I knew that would sound stupider than it looks lol, what I meant was that it should be only if it's released by coincidence in 2014, and not to commemorate the occasion.

That remains to be seen until the game is actually released in 2014 though lol (and by all means, I want it to be), look what happened to Rayman Legends, you never know.

I'm looking at Rayman Legends, and see that it was still released in the same year! Almost every delayed game was! Better example would of been Wii Fit U, though technically it has been released already via digital, and some regions will have the physical version before the year ends. I say there's no way we'll have another huge delay like this for a game like Yarn Yoshi, so the only way a delay would knock the game into 2015 was if it were releasing late in the year like DKCTF. All in all we'll just have to wait and see!

Having been a console player most of my life, I certainly can't subscribe to the idea of one quality game a month being plenty for my time/money budget.

Provided it IS quality, of course. Only playing Nintendo would be like only watching Hallmark. Wholesome on its own, but not the whole picture.

I'm counting on several surprise-exclusive for next year showing up. Either from Ubisoft of Nintendo themselves. They also do have quite a bunch of exclusive eShop titles lined up.

Well just like how no one's preventing you from changing the channel, no one is preventing you from buying another console. Also, Ubisoft is one of the last companys I'd expect to make a Nintendo exclusive considering they turned a previously Wii U exclusive multiplatform.
