Looks like there could be some validity to this rumour... welp more shit people can throw at each other during console arguments.

Who cares about resolution? Its jaggies that need to be sorted out for next gen.

My positive spin is that if you have good internet the cloud helps it out and it might be 1080 then?

Those games don't look very visually demanding it would a total disappointment if true, meanwhile Killzone Shadow fall looks stunning and is 1080p

Wow looking at the PS4 version it is hard to believe that the XB1 couldn't also achieve that even as less powerful console but when a Microsoft guy says something like "resolution will be what it will be" it seems to be true. Otherwise he would simply say it is 1080p...

It could just be hat since its not there game there not allowed to talk about stuff that the company that owns the game hasn't talked about yet

he wouldn't say anything then and not “resolution will be what it will be“

you know, there has to be a reason why we always see the ps4 version (or pc version) of multi-plat games (cod, asscreed, nba, titanfall, destiny and so on) and it would make sense if the reason is simply a worse looking version. the “i can't wait until the truth comes out“ of major nelson from some time ago starts to sound like a bad joke. when will the truth come out and which truth? that it was only coincidence that we barely saw any xb1 version before release and in reality every xb1 version looks like on ps4?

would be nice but i just can't believe that.

Resolution is a big part of helping with jaggies tho, yeah you can add loads of AA to a lower resolution game to get rid of them, but then you start to lose detail as the whole image becomes blurier.

Hi Res and AA is what you really want, not one or the other.

Don't care for CoD, so it doesn't affect me personally, but I find this incredibly hard to believe. The engine they use is ancient, and their games haven't been visually impressive for ages. I can't imagine it would be very difficult to get this running at 1080p. Especially when there are other games that look infinitely more demanding already confirmed to be running at higher resolutions. Besides, I'm pretty sure Activision confirmed 1080p for both systems months ago.

Source is also pretty laughable. Some random nobody said he played it and claimed it was 720p. Sorry but this seems like fishing at it's finest by NeoGaf to me. I call BS
