My prediction threads:

Fuck! It's requires at least 3.1GB of free space and I've only got 134MB...gonna have to delete alot of photos (cos I have 11.2GB worth) which will take ages :C

OT: I've heard it changes a lot of things and that people who are used to the Apple experience don't like it because of too many changes. Mostly the casuals that just buy iPhones because they don't know any better and think that's all there is. I'm sure power users and people who actually choose Apple over other alternatives that they are aware of will be fine.
I'm more interested in what the new features are of iOS7. What's new and improved?
I HATE the gradient look..... Apple was always clean design, and now its all muddy. Not a fan.
Liked the old one better.
I want the update but no way in hell am I deleting a bunch of stuff for it. -_-
Yeah you need 3.1gb for the install, although the file is only 760mb or so. The space is only needed for the update. Once you install it you have most of your space still free.
It's pretty good so far. I like the new look of everything. I dl'ed it on my iPhone 5 and iPad mini. The transitions are really smooth, not as jarring as before. For example, going from an app to the home screen.
Just finished up so I need more time to play around with things.

If they are just apps, you can delete them and re-download them after. I'm guessing that it just needs the free space in order to unpack the files and everything for installation. Your total free space only drops a little using ios 7 vs 6.

It doesn't look like it.
Besides the iphone 4 (which is limited in ios7 features), only A5 (ipad 2, ipad mini, ipad 3, iphone 4s, ipod touch 5th gen) or newer devices are supported.
