how did you come to that conclusion?

Prediction, ya know... what this thread is about. But i see that WW releases early october instead of next week so instead of a boost next week it should probably drop slightly then increase slightly then drop the week after that again slightly.

I see upper 20k range for this one. Could go higher, but I dunno.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

I dont know why 60k is leading. Thats just setting people up for the ridicule that would follow if it doesnt achieve 60k. The inevitable "wii u price drop fails to meet expectations due (of a select few of the fanbase)" threads. Even if you expect 60k then you should vote a notch lower than that because of those types of threads.

But lets look at that 60k. The 3DS saw an 300% increase week of pricedrop and it didnt even reach 60k only 51k. The wii u would need to see about 500% increase to reach that. Maybe more depending how low it drops in the next two weeks

I say 60k+ because of the New Zelda bundle.

The Wii U sold on average 7675 units a week last month. The two weeks before the price drop it will slump. You are expecting about 800-1100% increase and more sales than the 3ds the week of its price drop... man.

Wii U sold 20~30k per week WW last month. That's the question

I'm wondering if you are unaware of the software releasing nonstop starting october or if you are aware but thinks sales will drop even with the huge releases.

I'm only expecting a 5,000 or 10,000 unit boost in the Americas.

That said, I believe that the boost will last for a couple of weeks, long enough for other games to pick up slack. We've got Scribblenauts and the price cut's first full week next week, the retail version of Wind Waker the week after that, then Just Dance, then Skylanders, then Sonic, Batman, and Wii party U, then AC4:BF and M&S, then Call of Duty, then Black Friday and whatnot.

In other words, I believe the Wii U's worst times are behind it, at least in the near future. The price cut and the Wind Waker HD bundle are just the start of the momentum.

Love and tolerate.

Needs some advertising.... big time.

If Nintendo doesn't couple all this bundling and new games with heavy commercials/media print... it won't matter overall.

They need to hit 7m SOLD and 8m SHIPPED by Jan.
