unless you like to play games in the dark, i doubt that you would be able to see the lights very well

How can it annoy you when you can't see it?
Does the light coming from the TV annoy you too?
7 Year old News just in player indicator lights on 360 pads cant be turned off, but not only that they blink frantically when power is low draining pad power even faster!
edit:
More breaking news just in the 360 player indicator light faces the player directly, causing eye glaring blindness when playing in the dark.
/sarcasm
The light bar also acts as a controller indicator much like the LEDs on the DualShock 3.

Just like everything we talk about on this website Wizz
This isn't really a problem all you have to do is charge when your not using it, plus with DS3 I hardly ever had to charge it so I'm sure that wont change with DS4
@Vetteman94
I will still have to sit or stand 2 feet away from whatever device or wall outlet I am charging it from.

Really? This is your reason? A light UNDER the controller that you won't see unless you're looking at it and not the screen your playing on? Do the player indicatore lights on your dualshock3/sixaxis' piss you off as well? What about the one's on the Wiimote and 360 controller?
