My Guess:

3DS > PS3 = Wii U > 360 = PS4 > XBone = VIta

I am betting that Wii U is going to flop Gamecube style. GC had Mario K, Smash Bros, 3D Mario, Zelda WW, etc. They did not save the console from only carving out a niche and becoming irrelevant for the mainstream.

I am also expecting that Iwata is going to be replaced by the end of 2014

My prediction (but it's too soon to say)

3DS - 15 m
WIIU - 8.5 m
PS4 - 8.5 m
PS3 - 7.5 m
XONE - 7.2 m
X360 - 6.5 m
PSV - 5 m
PSP - 2.5 m
WII - 1.5 m
DS - 0.7 m

So, 3DS sales will go up by 25% compared to FY2012 while PS3 drops by around 27.5% from FY2012?

Oh all right.

3DS - 18 million sales, thanks to continuing sales from earlier titles, Super Smash Bros, and whatever else Nintendo is working on. Plus, I expect one or more classic remakes from Square ENix by that time, like FF5 or 6.

PS3 - 12 million sales. thanks to 2012 titles, continuing multiplatform releases, the price drop to $200, and momentum

Wii U - 12 million sales, with Mario Kart and Smash Bros driving much of them. However, 3rd party support is fairly minimal.

360 - 9 million sales, thanks to a price cut to as low as $99 and continuing American support

PS4 - 9 million sales, thanks to early support from developers and public, but limited by price compared to other systems

XBone -7 million sales, thanks to American momentum and support, but hurt by price and bad reputation

Vita - 6 million sales, aided by PS2 ports and remasters, compatibility with PS4, and price cut, but still lacking support

Wii - 2 million sales, selling off of low price of system and games and the classic library

Total: 75 Million Units of Hardware sold. Far more than the 56 million sold in 2012, but far less than the 90+ million of 2008

This does not count as an official prediction. This is just a guess I'm making in the Wee hours of the morning when I'm too tired to think straight.

PS3 will sell around 10M in 2014 if it gets a price drop to $199.

I think after initial sales X1 will decline in sales and the Wii U will end up having more sales than the x1
