I agree with this post.  Contributing to the forum should not be a license to press the rules further than other users can.

Random question:  If I want to make a statement "X* game is shit" exactly how many words of reasoning why it is shit do I need provide along with the statment to avoid moderation?  Can I bullet point the reasons?  If so how many bullet points would be needed?  Can I just add "imo" and skip the reasoning?  I play a lot of games and some turn out to be terrible so it is an issue I run into often when I see a relevent topic to post my opinion in.

*X being any game, not the Monolift Soft WiiU title.

For calling a game "shit" you need to bring up a lot of reasons, well unless the universal consent is that it's a shitty game.
If you say "I thought the game was not very good" you don't need to add anything. (unless you post that over and over again, then it would be recommended to add something to your posts or else it would be spam.)

@bolded
That's the part I don't quite understand. I see you calling a lot of (using Metacritic scores now) 75-90 games meh or downright bad.
You say the reason for that is that you play a lot of games. Well I do the same and therefore know that the majority of people on this forum have never touched a truly bad or meh game.
Besides Duke Nukem Forever, Aliens Colonial Marines or Haze I don't think I've ever seen a discussion on this forum about a truly bad game (and even the three aforementioned games aren't at the very bottom of quality), simply because most users don't know what "bad" truly means.
I think the more games you play, the more should you appreciate the quality of games that aren't AAA.

This ban list just made E3 more exciting. Now I really can't wait. Lol

Wow this is one long list. Still don't understand I was banned on that "describe xboxone in 3 words" post.

"not a real gaming console"
That are more than 3 words. You can only blame yourself for not following the rules in the OP.

Why did dsister ask for a permaban?

Issues to put simple (He left our skype chat stating this reason)

Which was a very sad day...

OT: Tads is a serial banner! Go get 'em! (But you'll never get me! Muahahaha.)

Well it is easy to blame the users. But I sometimes have the fealing that some of our mods respond to every report with a ban.

You say saomething about you get banned by certain mod (even if it is objective observation), the you mention this in another Thread you get banned by another mod. You try to argue with somebody, he runs out of arguments reports you and you get banned.

On the other hand a mod trolls all over the place, gets reported and nobody gives a fuck.

Well I gotta say nice job guys, really nice job.

What happened to warnings? So one knows when he is overstepping? You might misunderstood the concept of a community. We should work together not against each other.

I think it's pretty unprofessional when a mod puts their own opinion forward so much.

"We will no longer be requiring your participation on gamrConnect. Goodbye, and don't let the door hit you on your way out. ^_^) ~"

This for instance, don't disagree with the ban per say but is there any need for the last comment? Makes him seem very unprofessional! Just my opinion :P

Maybe you aren't here enough, or maybe you don't care enough. But trust me, there are many reports that don't get answered with a ban. There are also many warnings. They are littered all over VGC. You just have to look.

As long as they're fair with their judgment, I don't care that much if they're being unprofessional.

VGKing, why did show double standards. Explain yourself.

This thread and this thread. This post also explains pretty much everything.

You can read through and all questions will be answered.

That ... was epic.  For me, though, not exactly a revelation but more of a clear confirmation.  Did any moderations or bans come out of this?

Well it is true that I haven´t had the time lately to visit here frequently. I know I got banned for a bunch of bullshit, that could easily be solved by a warning. And that is frustrating.

And I remember a Thread where one of our mods literally trolled EA and nobody gave a fuck about it. If this would have been me or somebody else talking about Nintendo that way we would have gotten banned by a mod.

I guess what I wanted to say, maybe they should use more space to redeem ourself if a post a user makes is considered inappropriate give him/her the chance to edit or rephrase it. instead of banning the user.

But despite all that I still love this fourm, imo its the best and most accesible in the Internet
