Forums - Gaming Discussion - Some Games Could be 60fps on PS4 and 30fps on Xbox One – Jonathon Blow

So?

I want 1080p 60fps!! 100 78.13%

I'll be old school next ... 7 5.47%

I'm a noob, what do these mean?!? 2 1.56%

Not enough, must be 4k 120fps, or no buy!!!! 18 14.06%

Total:127

Thats not what he said.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

this is common sense....

I swear I saw a "Maybe" there, didn't I? Doesn't sound like he really knows.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

There is also this floating around.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

He is not the only one saying that could be the case, developer from Just Add Water says pretty much the same. I am afraid that those MS policies requiring parity between versions will unfortunately hold most developers from even trying to showcase the difference in power next gen.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

The difference is so big that I Think MS has something in their license agreement that says that they have to be equal on that Point but other Graphics might get a bump for sure, I just don't Think an important thing like framerate will be able to be different on the 2 consoles

well the ps4 has faster memory and something like 33%(?) more raw computational power...

I don't see why not.

According to digital foundry and it's a reliable source it's even more, something circa 48% more raw power.

I like how this is coming from a guy who thumbs his nose at all the big AAA games and their developers that try to push graphics as much as they can.

Yeah, Xbox One will have a tough time running games like The Witness and Braid in 1080p @ 60fps.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

1.2 to 1.8 is 50% more.
