There was no price cut for the Wii U on Europe, just a few stores made the cut and it was only for the basic model, that has 8GB and no game bundle.

Wrong the price cut happened in Europe already several weeks ago.

Retailers can freely decide for what they offer the WiiU in Europe since Nintendo didn't give out MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price). Due to that retailers lowered the price on their own because it's not selling very well and at the same time forced other retailers to go down in price as well.

Basic SKU:
Launch price was around 299€.
Went from 265€ to 193€ in the past 90 days:

GAMEWISE!

Now I have ioi's attention:

While adjustments to software are being mentioned, going to bring up that we still haven't made any adjustments to 3DS software after 2012's NPD, of which the 4 most obvious errors (Angry Birds; Kingdom Hearts; Mario & Sonic and Lego Star Wars) I pointed out in that post.

Makes me wonder if Luigi & Pokemon will be adjusted. Fire Emblem got its sales slashed like the day after last month's NPD, so we'll see.

And Wii-U is back down again. Maybe it will get a little boost when Pikin releases in two months or so, aside that it can only hope that the original Wii doesn't overtake it in weekly sales.
