So news hit this morning that the next Forza game would indeed be a launch title.  I heard some news last month about the possible launch titles for Xbox Next and kept a lid on it up until now.  My source has told me that PGR5, Alan Wake 2, an unnamed Epic game and of course Destiny were going to be launch titles.  According to an update I got today, Alan Wake 2 will be exclusive to Xbox Next but won’t be a launch title.  PGR5 is supposedly being set for launch, but I kind of wonder what sense it would make to have 2 racing franchises as launch titles.  It’s being worked on by Lucid Games, which is a “small” company spear headed by Ex-Bizarre and Criterion developer’s. There’s no word on the Epic game and you already know about Destiny.  All of this is rumor of course so take it with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed by official sources.

Alan Wake 2 shouldnt be called Alan Wake 2.

I can't wait for AW again, probably the best story game I played this gen and it didn't hurt that it was in the Horror genre. Alan Wake 2 is not to shabby but I've got to give it to you Alice Wake would look pretty great

Why would we need two racing games at launch? Forza or PGR alone could go head to head with driveclub so this doesn't make much sense. If I was in charge I'd push one of them back to compete with GT6.

Alan Wake 2 will be great and could possibly be a graphics whore game to show off the system's power. I bet the epic game will be multiplat so that's why AW should look better.

They'll save Forza for GT6.

- Forza Motorsport 5
- Alan Wake 2
- Ryse
- Destiny
- PGR 5
- Battlefield 4
- Assassin's Creed Next
- WatchDogs
- new Epic Game
- new Zombie Game
- Call of Duty MW4
- new Rare IP

 

would be quite an overkill if all of these are true
