Forums - Gaming Discussion - Diablo III Fans Are Not Reacting Well To The Game’s PS4 Announcement

The way the skills are laid out made it obvious it was developed with a console version in mind.

But that's not what's being said and you completely missed the point. But I'm not surprised ethomaz.

Sorry I can list to you at least 10 commets here saying the game is a crap... what are you talking about? You are complain about I said lol because the comments here and in the Diablo III forum... I said why so what the problem? You seem to not undertand.

Now who is missing the point?

You are missing the point. I challenge you to identify more than one poster who said it was crap, and not relatively to diablo II (which is a reasonable opinion since DII was legendary).

Well, looking back at Starcraft 64, it couldn't compare to the pc version; so there wasn't a problem there. So the grievance could come from the idea that the console version of D3 will be equal to pc.

That's remeber me the first Diablo for PS1... the game in PC is way better (not just graphics... but gameplay because the keyboard and mouse) but the game in PS1 was funny too and I liked it and sometimes I even enjoyed to play the console version than the PC one.

So I expect Diablo III to be better on PC for the same reasons but the console version will not be bad after all.

So much butthurt over a port . I will never understand it. Well, maybe if FFXIII versus was to be multiplat (which at this point is more likely than ever) I would be a upset, but not this much.

I don't see myself picking up this game on either the PS3 or the PS4 so it doesn't really concern me.

@HappyDolphin Why are you so freaking pretentious and high-and-mighty all of a sudden? Holy shit man, tone it down.

Sony fans are too ignorant. Its nothing to do with losing an exclusive, thats what you guys bitch about( well, you did at the start of the gen not so much now).

The problem is the ramifications of developing on a yet unannounced console. It certainly explains why Diablo III took so long and why it was seen as a bit of a disappointment.

And this isn't a sudden hatred Diablo fans are feeling, they felt this way the second they started playing Diablo III. Now they have a reason why the game sucked. Multiplatform games are all well and good, but not when it sticks two fingers at the core fanbase.

Because people have been behaving very oddly in the past few days, but you are oblivious to it all and I can't wonder why.

Ohhh yeah... crap, shitty, boring garbage, shit, etc... just read the comments.

You are just upset because I think the comments are funny... the commets in the forum are hilarious (anyway the topic was deleted)...  complain about archivments? The controller difference from mouse/keyboard? Complicated item mechanics for consoles?

There is any reasonable motive to hate the fact the Diablo III is coming to consoles? Sorry but I think not.

That's the same that happened with Rayman coming to PS360... instead the fact the Wii U owner have reasonable motive for that... the delay of the Wii U version.

The thread is so much fun... just it.

I asked you for links in the vgchartz thread, since that's what you were originally referring to.

Regardless, there is a reason to hate the fact that DIII was geared to a console release, and that was the point of the threads. The game was, to many, dumbed down. Now they all understand why that is, and many fit the context of a console-driven design....

And?
Blizzard-Activison already took the money and ran
This was the best selling single console/pc/3ds/vita title in 2012 correct? IE not counting Black Ops 2 360+PS3 sales and just on one platform.

if you take away the 1.5 mill they gave away with WOW subs and count as sales it wouldn't be but still huge  then again where talking about the successor to a franchise who's battle chest pak was in the top ten pc sellers for close to ten years

True.

Well I still say Torchlight 2 is the better game *BUT* as far as Dungeon Looting/hack and slash consoles only had what? Sacred 2? Most titles were medicore, so this is good news.

Assuming you're just taling about PC ports, maybe, but there are plenty of 'Diablo clones' on console that never saw the light of day on PC, including Record of Lodoss War (DC) and Shining Force EXA and NEO (PS2), among a pile of others.

(And T2 beats the hell out of D3 BUT it might be fun to play D3 with a controller rather than point 'n' click.)

Oh god... you really whant to me make everything easy to you... it better you read the comments... why I will link post from other users to you? I'm this kind of guy... I never even reported anybody in this forum.

And why did you quote me? You have no point... just wants to try to make a point but I explain everything to you and you seems to not undertood what the point here... just you... I don't know why because this is almost a joke thread.
