They don't resort to price cuts so quickly, unlike some other companies in the industry.

Well then what do they resort to? SoftWare doesn't seem to be working all to well either.

I don't know I don't work for Sony. Ask them.

No, no. You seem to be quite a reliable source. You said that Sony doesn't resort to Price Cuts like "other companies" so I thought you would have an idea on what they might do to help the Vita.

You don't need to be a reliable source to know they don't resort to price cuts so quickly. I think that's pretty evident, or do you not read into video game news that much? Busy getting your cash money from Nintendo as you said before right?

Maybe, it all depends on the PS4/720. We need to wait and see on what they do to the Wii-U

Exactly. They could very well Dreamcast the Wii U out of the market.

The Dreamcast didn't have the likes of Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Zelda to fall back on, and if you're going to point out once again that the Gamecube did, it wasn't forced out of the market. ;)

Oh, yeah. You're right, yet again!

I must go to the bank (on Monday, of course) to cash in this latest check from Nintendo. Thanks for the reminder.

This has to be a joke. An offensive one; PSV was lucky to outsell N-Gage.

Nice, now you're the one actually posting an offensive joke. :P

I think it is uncalled for because the PS Vita is actually a quality console.

Let's suppose for a moment that the PS Vita maintains this slow rate (which it won't, it will speed up) for a full 10 years, the usual Sony console cycle: that's about 35-40 Million consoles lifetime. It will still be better than Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Dreamcast and others.

While I realize you were just giving a hypothetical situation, a console that only sells 3.5 - 4 million per year will not last 10 years on the market to begin with.  It would never gain the critical developer support to generate the market demand to last that long.

- PS Vita yet to receive a price cut; it will always be cheaper than the Wii U;
--------Neither has Wii U.   X360 has always been cheaper than PS3, did it matter?

- PS Vita already outselling Wii U in Europe (4 consecutive weeks now);
--------But not the US or Japan.  Or combined globally which matters more than just a single market when you're talking about what outsells what.

- PS Vita's competition is already out; Wii U's true competition is yet to come and it's falling short of sales targets already;
--------Vita also fell short of sales targets and has had it's target reduced several times.

- PS Vita's integration with PS3, PS4, PSN and PlayStation Plus could very well give it a boost via bundling or strong PS4 sales in the future; Wii U's networking services and integration don't look as strong;
--------Subjective and speculative.

- PS Vita is more likely to receive third party support than the Wii U once the new next gen consoles come out.
---------Speculative and likely irrelevant.  Did Wii need greater 3rd party support to outsell the PSP?

The rEVOLution is not being televised

So what does Sony resort to? Half-assing 1st party releases and failing to get any significant 3rd party support? You could argue Nintendo does one of those things, but not both.

You're welcome, that's what I'm here for. You seem to have a short term memory so I don't mind reminding you on things. How much are you getting this time?
