Boo!

?!?!?!!?

Didn't think my post was ban worthy. And I did answer the OP. I just wanted to know your stance on when a generation ends.

When Sony says so.

Seriously. The generation for Nintendo has ended but as a whole when PS4 and 720 are both out.

Started this Gen as a 360 gamer.I even got my 3rd 360 before my first PS3 but PS3 is clearly the only choice here if you count the years after 2008.
But this Gen isn't over - The PS3 has like 20+ Exclusives still to come this year worldwide.
And some of the biggest that will define gaming new are coming this year > The Last of Us(best Console graphics in this Gen,best AI ever achieved and all that stuff),Beyond Two Souls(new way of facial animations, new storytelling and gameplay),NiNoKuni(new approach on J-RPGs) and God of War

2nd answer > PC for the Multiplats that aren't better on the PS3(upcoming Crysis 3 probably for example - But yolo maxed out on PC and stuff <3).Or Skyrim with 1013897 Mods that make it look like a game from 2020 <3

At first Wii, but then it lost me when it became obvious Nintendo wasn't going to follow up on the revolution.

So.... PC, as usual.

I LOVE ICELAND!

360 definitely won me over this gen. I didn't even purchase it. It was a gift. I bought ps3 day 1. I still have my ps3 phat. Also purchased Wii at launch. But in the end, I enjoyed my xbox so much more. The control had a lot to do with it. I love the 360 control.

For me it's not the console that won my heart but the games

Xenoblade Chronicles

therefore Wii

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

You were banned for bringing potentially thread-ruining content into it, with an obvious purpose behind it, which is why I didn't respond.

A generation ends when games stop coming

Contradicts your title wouldnt you say?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The Wii is my main console although I do have to admit, the 360 has won me over a great deal.

No, that I wouldn't say

3rd parties could bring games to 360/PS3 for years. Hardly "all but over" if you think that way.

I started out with a wii, until PS3 became just too good.

Spent the most time and money on Xbox 360, but my heart belongs to Wii.

I got a healthy dose of Mario, Metroid, and Zelda, and I was able to catch up on classics from the Virtual Console. Plus backwards compatibility with GCN games and all the great local co-op Wii games. Most importantly, I was able to share the Wii with all my family and friends.
