Forums - Sony Discussion - Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Price Drop - $39.99 Day 1 Price - "Makes it a No-Brainer Purchase"

lol it's an OLD IP which is basically being ressurected. Lower budget for the game means they can push it more. This is good as the first half of the year very competative. I hope this becomes a big success for them because from the looks of it the dev has done a fantastic job

oh and I saw over at gaf that someone has located an easter egg sorta thing....from JAK ;)

Had no interest in this game, but for $30 I just might check it out now.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

They most likely saw what happened to Starhawk (retail version), LittleBigPlanet Karting and to a lesser extent PSASBR and decided that it would be better off as a $40 title.
Since the the dev costs weren't as high as other blockbuster exclusives, they may afford a reduced retail price.

After all it worked insanely well for Sniper Ghost Warrior.

is that the reason for this http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/game_comparison.php?reg=Global&ending=Cumulative&game%5B%5D=StarHawk+%28PS3%29+%5B43923%5D&game%5B%5D=Starhawk+%28PS3%29+%5B70736%5D&game%5B%5D=&game%5B%5D=

i'd love it if you checked on that for me

OT: i like this move. i could see this happening for fututre ip releasing on PS3.

I'm not sure what you want me to do.

I may buy a PS Vita after the price drop for this game then. :P (that is if any other good games are releasing on it soon)

Even at that price, I'm gonna have to pass on it for a good while. I've just got too many games to play.

AWESOME!!! Didn't know that when I pre-order weeks ago. Why would anyone just buy the Vita only version then?
