X and Y sound like chromosomes to me.

thats what I thought at first, the unique pokemon is either male or female.

Has Nintendo ever made a main game on a home console? Haven't they all been Colosseum type games?

I think Gamefreak doesn't have the manpower or interest to do a Big Console Pokemon.
I think none of the Console Pokemon Games were made by Gamefreak am i right?I think they were all from other studios.

They probably won't bring a Real Pokemon Game(like the Handheld ones) to a big console.
If there will be a game for the WiiU it will be Stadium/Snap/Pikachu TV Channel Game

Why Pokémon Z will actually be released for the 3DS: It features an actual 3D screen.

:P

Edit: Also what Basil said.

That makes loads more sense then looking back in forth from GamePad to TV Screen. (No offence, JayWood.)

Like everyone else I thought of the XY chromosome too, but it's an interesting idea about a Pokemon Z. I've always wanted Game Freak to produce a third version for home console just out of curiosity to see what it would play like.

Well, I have to some games strong feelings if it matches more mobile or home consoles. Monster Hunter is for me home (although japanese seem to think differently on this) and Pokemon feels totally like mobile. I would prefer Z to be a 3DS-game and I think most agree.
But that doesn't mean some useful WiiU-app for Pokemon is out of question. A WiiU-Pokedex would be good, but I also think an extended storage system. Think of the possibilities: Transfer some Pokemon to the WiiU to make space for more Pokemon to catch and have some minigames in the WiiU with them. That would be cool.
